Mental Capacity

Mental Capacity is the mental facility or power to produce, perform, or deploy with the use of your mind, your reason or rational intelligence in a variety of ways. It is important for you as an individual to enhance your mental prowess and health to the extreme.

The various components that make up your mental capacity is: short and long term memory, your education - which is not just what you remember and know, but what you can do as well... i.e. various skills picked up through out ones life.  How broad and deep your education is does much to affect your mental capacity. It it to every persons' advantage to acquire the best education they can get.

A good base in mathematics and various branches of science along with writing and grammar and various disciplines on logic and other methods of inquiry is a necessity.

Your mental capacity can make or break any or every other endeavor in your life. For example High School dropouts as a rule make far less money than people who graduate High School and of course those with college degrees make more and people with degrees in certain fields will likely make more than most, such as someone with an engineering degree.

It is important not only for an individual to increase their mental capacity for their own sake, but, for any individual who desires to be as effective as they can for their family or community, they must pursue the optimal development for their mental capacity.

To give you an example as to why this is important, it has been consistenly shown that people with higher intelligence that achieve great academic or technological success are much more likely to have higher paying jobs, are less likely to become unemployed and if they do are more likely to get back to work sooner. They are more likely to create new innovations, enjoy greater health, have a wider selection of sex partners or potential mates and have more stable relationships and family.

It has also been noted that people with higher Mental Capacity tend to raise children who also will be more likely to become successful in life.

It does take disciple to achieve high mental capacity for some people, however, once again, their is no downside to be had for anyone working towards this goal and the entire task can be mostly if not all pleasure when done in the company of like minded friends and family or at least from the encouragement from those in your life that matter.

In closing I want to mention that the most common excuses that people give for not achieving optimal mental performance is; I am emotionally overwhelmed - low emotional capacity; I don't have the energy or my poor health is keeping me back - low physical capacity; I don't know the right people to participate with, or my friends and family or my employer is getting in the way - Low social & political capacity; I don't have the money, I can't afford it - low financial capacity; and lastly, I don't have the time - which is most often affected directly by lack of finances or perhaps their other capacities are courting bankruptcy.

This is why the capacities for each of the other areas of your life must be attended to.
