Provide opportunities in the arts to the students of Los
Angeles' inner-city schools where harsh conditions and economic
disadvantage create barriers to achievement. We believe art
encourages the creative expression of our students while
promoting confidence, esteem and the cultivation of higher-level
thinking skills. Inner-City Arts provides more than 450 students
a day with the opportunity to explore the arts through hands-on
activities in visual arts, drama, dance, ceramics, music and
animation.

Since 1993, it has successfully provided free year-round
professional training and paid job opportunities to diverse
low-income youth who are focused on building a career behind the
scenes in the entertainment industry.
